To confirm an accommodation booking, 50% deposit of the total accommodation or package is required at the time of booking  with the remaining balance due 60 days prior to arrival.  The booking will be confirmed via email on receipt of the payment.


We will text you the day before your arrival, a unique access code that will operate the lock(s) for the private lower level entrance and elevator.  The code will be sent to the phone number associated with your booking.

Arrival time is as early as 11:00a.m. and check-in is contactless.

Departure time is 4:00p.m. at the latest and is also contactless.

There are no authorized late check-outs.


Cancellation request received 60 days  or greater before check-in – 100% refund

Cancellation request received 59-0 days before check-in – No refund


At the time of booking, 50% of the total booking amount will be required to hold your dates. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival. A reminder email will be sent to you 62 days before your scheduled arrival date to give you the opportunity to pay the balance due. If you are booking a retreat within a 60 day window of your arrival date, 100% of the total booking amount will be required at the time of booking.


The Owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However, the Owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require guests to comply with certain conditions. We appreciate that most will respect our property, but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.


The ID and password will be in the welcome guide located in the terrace level.  The service is provided for your enjoyment but you are responsible for safe and appropriate use and complying with all laws. If there is any loss of service please contact us.

Please note – should the WIFI not be available due to technical or service issues NO compensation will be given.


The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival*.

  • Empty the refrigerator/freezer and dispose of all food items. Liquids poured down the drain (except oils – in a sealed container in the trash) and leftover food in a trash bag.
  • Bagged trash placed in the outdoor trash receptacle next to the wood pile. This includes the bathrooms/bedrooms too – small bags can be added to the kitchen trash bag.
  • Dishes cleaned and put away in corner cupboard/shelves OR washing in the dishwasher.
  • Cooking pots/pans cleaned and dried by hand and placed on shelves.
  • Remove ONLY used linens and place in one pile on the floor of each bedroom.
  • Leave towels in bathrooms, hanging on hooks/bars or on the shower floor.
  • Place any moved furniture back in its original location, including outdoor furniture.
  • Sweep floors with excess debris (broom & vacuum are in a bedroom closet) and wipe up any spills.

*If any ,or all, of these items are not attended to there is a minimum $100.00 or the additional cleaning time required to bring the property up to standard will be deducted from your security deposit.


A mobile phone number must be provided and be contactable when occupying the residence 24/7 for security purposes.


The minimum age for guests is 25 years of age.


These should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.  Bookings will be made for the maximum number of guests you require to stay at the property at any time regardless of the number of days your additional guests choose to reside with you. We will not breakdown the cost of the bookings based on individual days for individual guests.  It is the responsibility of the lead crafter to collect funds from other crafters and submit one payment at the time of booking.


Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial.  Accordingly, this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.

The accommodation is for registered guests only. Parties are not permitted under any circumstances and there is to be no noise audible between 11:00pm to 7:00am and no excessive noise at any other time.  Evidence of parties/use as party venue will result in all guests being asked to vacate the property with full forfeiture of payment.


Damages, breakages or loss to or from the property are the guest’s responsibility during their stay. Guests shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred because of such damage, breakages or loss. Without prejudice to any other remedies available, Crafter Retreats at the Lodge shall be entitled to have recourse to cover such costs and expenses and/or debit any deposit credit card used to make the principal payment.


Place any moved furniture back in its original location, including outdoor furniture, being careful not to damage floors and furniture.


Crafter Retreats at the Lodge take no responsibility for guests personal property during your stay or items left on property on departure.


Crafter Retreats at the Lodge will endeavor to describe the property and its position to the best of their ability and in good faith.  We do not take any responsibility for incorrect descriptions or omissions and will not be held liable should the property not match your expectations.


The terrace level does have a burning stove, however our property’s insurance policy doesn’t allow for guests to use it.  In addition, no candles (inside and outside) or fireworks of any kind.


We do experience drought periods, and outdoor burning bans.  If there is an Adirondack chair on the top of the fire pit, a ban is in place and unfortunately you will not be able to use the fire pit during this stay.  We are not responsible for providing wood for the fire pit.  From time to time, extra wood is available on the rack along the walkway that you may use.  Twigs, branches or tree limbs that have fallen on the ground may be collected and used.  You may not cut any trees or use wood from other storage locations on the property.


Our gardening and maintenance staff may require access to the gardens and property during your stay, we ensure these visits are kept to a minimum but are sometimes unavoidable to ensure the high maintenance of the property. Should maintenance need to enter the property we will contact you with as much notice as possible.


There are three parking spots designated with ‘Guest Parking’ signs on the property.  In addition, there are undesignated parking areas we can direct you to – there’s 11 acres, so there are plenty of spots!


Bagged trash should be placed in the outdoor trash receptacle next to the wood pile.  This includes the bathroom/bedrooms too – small bags can be added to the kitchen trash bag.  Friday morning is trashed collection, so if you are staying with us on Thursday night, please make sure all bagged trash is in the outside receptacle. We will take the trash in the outside bin to the curb for you.  Empty containers of remaining liquid before putting them in the trash.  Do not put oil or grease down the drains.  Any remaining oil or grease should be left in a sealed container and set next to the trash receptacle outside.


The property is on city water, however sewage is a septic system.  NOTHING but the septic system safe toilet paper should be used in the toilets.

Items that can NOT go in toilet:

  • Tissues/Kleenex
  • Feminine products
  • Diapers
  • ‘Flushable’ wipes
  • Non-flushable wipes
  • Condoms
  • Paper towels
  • Non-septic safe products
  • Anything else that you can think of that is NOT septic safe toilet paper

Non-septic safe products can be placed in the small trashcans in the bathrooms or the large trashcan in the kitchen area.

Items that CAN go in toilet:

  • Septic safe toilet paper
  • Natural Waste

Non-septic safe products do NOT breakdown, clog the drain lines and can cause the entire system to backup into the house!

Additional toilet paper in each bathroom (basket or drawers), however if you need more, let us know and we’ll get it to you.


Absolutely NO smoking or vaping anywhere on the property both indoors and outdoors.  Guests found smoking/vaping will be asked to leave and all additional cleaning and deodorizing costs will be charged. Any damage caused by smoking will also result in extra charges.


Absolutely NO pets of any kind are allowed.


In the event of a problem, maintenance issue or complaint you must inform Crafter Retreats at the Lodge immediately so that we have the opportunity to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible and ensure the property is safe for guests and property is maintained.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you acknowledge that if we can solve a problem within 24 hours then you are not due a refund.  If you require assistance during your stay, the Owners are on-site if needed, otherwise you will be left to enjoy the space.
